a brief overview of EFT
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) aka “tapping” removes the body’s stress response from whatever we’re dealing with so we can process the stressor or let it go. We do this by tapping on specific acupuncture points while focusing on the sensory aspects of the issue. This trains the nervous system to relax in the face of the challenge and rewires the brain toward resourcefulness and calm. It’s okay to address minor stress and body aches at home using EFT, but traumatic or complex issues should be worked on with an accredited practitioner. Studies have shown EFT can work faster and be more effective than talk therapy or EMDR.
Clinical EFT can also help identify subconscious beliefs formed throughout our lives that prevent us from moving forward in ways we’d like; it puts us in a new and improved state to accomplish our life and wellness goals.

bodywork sessions
Bodywork sessions are tailored to the goals of each client and may involve Ortho-Bionomy®, massage, cupping, manual therapy, hot/cold therapy, or other selected massage techniques.
Ortho-Bionomy was developed by Arthur Lincoln Pauls, an osteopath and martial artist who loved the idea of using the body’s natural reflexes to heal itself. Based on important principles, such as the body has innate wisdom, the body protects itself by contracting away from pain, and a body in comfort can heal, Ortho-Bionomy teaches the nervous system it’s safe to relax its protectiveness and let the body unwind. Golgi tendons plus spindle reflexes plus proprioception plus comfort plus a practitioner as guide create a unique and powerful release layer by layer.
